The National University provides the most advanced computing services, through the Dirección General de Cómputo y de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación, to the many varied university buildings and external institutions that require these services.

Furthermore, the UNAM has a number of Computing Centres installed in the research institutes, and schools that are a part of the university. These Centres attend to the need for resources and computing services by students, teachers, researchers and professors.
